Are you an IT Technician with a creative outlook, mixed with great problem solving and analytical skills?

This is a very diverse and varied role that will encompass all aspects of IT across our retail and business networks. This will suit someone who is creative and thinks outside of the box.

This is a busy and broad role and can range from resolving our team's basic IT issues, to finding out why the main business server is down, as well as looking after all of our ‘business critical’ equipment such as servers, PC’s, printers etc. You may find yourself having to crawl around in dusty areas to find that certain cable!

As our IT Technician you will:

Be responsible for the day-to-day provision of support and management of our IT resources ensuring that there is adequate provision to meet the needs of the organisation.
Be responsible the, maintenance and support of our core network infrastructure, services, and data to ensure a continuity of service to all users including fault diagnosis, and resolution.
Prioritise workloads to maintain service levels and service KPI’s both within a structured service framework as well as retaining a reactive outlook.
Support strategic planning of IT provision in the organisation.
Liaise with other departments to deliver technology projects.

We will provide you with training on all of our own IT systems and you will gain both experience and insight working in a varied and fun workplace.

About You

We are looking for an IT Technician who has the following attributes

Experience of working within flexible IT environments
Certification of Microsoft MCP Windows Active Directory or similar
Experience of customer facing hands-on support, maintenance, and installation
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Excellent knowledge and understanding of Windows 10 and Windows Server, Office 365
Server hardware
Active Directory, Group Policy and Domain Services
TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, routing and firewall configuration, VPNs and WAN environments
Backup technologies
Cyber security technologies and best practice
Display a high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
Calm under pressure.
Excellent time keeping.
Well presented with a professional appearance and manner.
A confident, team-player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
